Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Managing daily purchase order request and endure products are brought in at the most competitive cost and delivers on time.
Review, verify, and place purchase orders requested from planning requisitions
Review and follow up daily on past due purchase orders, process planning PO expedite requests and report status to management.
Identify cost related factors through profit and loss analysis.
Maintain NaVision system data integrity through accurate data entry of purchase orders and subsequent updates
Collect supplier pricing and create comparison charts for management review and approval
Work with R&D team to prevent and solve technical and quality issues to ensure continuous supply
Demonstrate ownership on all assigned product lines, new products inventory levels and supplier negotiations
Requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese Mandarin
Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and can adapt quickly
Personable, collaborative team member who will thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment
Strategic thinker with proven track of execution
1-2-year experience with purchasing
Automotive aftermarket experience a plus but not necessary
